My name is Sam Hil Atalanta (they/them) – you can call me Sammie. I'm an illustrator and oil painter, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I’m queer, non binary and left handed :)

My paintings
I create intimate paintings that revolve around feeling. In my work I focus on tenderness, sensuality, power dynamics and the beauty of erotic tension between individuals.

I'm open for commissions, feel free to contact me if you'd like me to create a painting for you.


Educational projects
Besides painting portraits, I'm working on several other projects. With The Vulva Gallery I focus on vulva diversity and sexual health education, and with The Body Diversity Gallery I’ve broadened this approach to celebrate all kinds of body parts. With You're Welcome Club I focus on inclusivity and sexuality.
